Move over Bruce Willis.
Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson is rumored to be in talks to star in a remake of the classic 1988 Bruce Willis action flick Die Hard, which spawned numerous sequels and went on to become one of the most successful feature film franchises in movie history.
Bruce Willis, who starred with Alan Rickman and Bonnie Bedeliain the original, told reporters after his last Die Hard sequel - 2007's Live Free or Die Hard - that he was getting close to retiring John McClane, who battled an Internet-based terrorist organization in the last flick to perpetuate the franchise. But would Robert Pattinson really fill the massive void left by Bruce Willis? In a time of Hollywood remakes -including a forthcoming remake of 2002's Spiderman - it doesn't take decades for a film to warrant a modern refresh. But many Die Hard fans don't want to see John McClane played by anyone other than Willis.
So will it happen? Or are rumors of Robert Pattinson becoming anaction hero just hype to give filmstudios an idea of how fans would accept - or reject - Pattinson in the role of Die Hard's epic hero?
