Amitabh Bachchan threatens to sue Airtel for copyright infringement over usage of his voice!

Airtel is known for spamming their customers about a service that allows them to talk to superstars on the phone.

Essentially, the service connects them to Inside India network which does all the processing of voices.

Amitabh Bachchan is now threatening legal action against the mobile giant for misusing his name without permission.

Airtel on their part claims that they are not responsible for anything as they have an official deal with Inside India.

Inside India has the rights to use Amitabh Bachchan’s voice on mobile platform. Airtel claims that the responsibility lies with them.

Bachchan has been making a lot of noise about how third parties are using his voice to market and promote their products without his permission.

He also talked about getting a copyright on his voice.
